天秤座由金星守護、守護神是維納斯，影響他們愛好追求和平和和諧的感覺，天秤座的人外型優雅，親切善良，對人慷慨，朋友緣極好，喜歡聽別人的傾訴，溝通力又強，只不過有猶豫不決的最大毛病。
他們事事要求平衡，和其他人維持深入關係是他的人生目標，他們最容易感染寂寞，很多時會有心靈上空虛，雖然分享是他人生的座右銘，可惜他容易流於將自己的一套想法加諸在其他人身上，正所謂用自己的尺來度他人的長短，天秤座的朋友要小心這點。
不喜歡作決定，因為他們不懂得如何決定，很喜歡逃避問題，猶疑不決，不知所措，不知下一步可以怎樣去做，他們又最怕寂寞，朋友對他很重要，女性天秤座希望伴侶最好廿四小時陪她。
